Education & advocacy programs

Experience genuine healing and connection

When families join our programs, they experience comfort and validation, a profound sense of connection and belonging, and invaluable knowledge and empowerment. We foster hope and healing within a safe space to grieve and remember, building a community rooted in compassion and understanding for families in the High Desert region.

Compassionate support group programs

Our support groups offer a vital lifeline for families. The monthly grief circles provide a safe space for parents, siblings, spouses, and adult children of homicide victims to express grief without judgment, fostering healing and reducing isolation. Our court process support group guides families through hearings, victim impact statements, and parole processes, helping with navigation and reducing anxiety. Families gain validation and connection by being with others who share similar experiences, ensuring no one feels alone in their journey.

Honoring lives: Remembrance & healing

Healing through remembrance is central to our mission. Our memorial wall allows families to submit online tributes, ensuring their loved ones are publicly recognized. The annual candlelight vigil, held locally in Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, or Barstow, offers a structured, supportive environment for reflection and connection, reminding families they don’t face grief alone. Additionally, our healing art or writing workshops provide creative avenues for processing grief symbolically, fostering healing and connection within the community.
